Colleen Bredell's Therapeutic Orientation

"I believe therapy is most effective when based on an interactive relationship between client and therapist. I am committed to providing honesty and respect for the client within a compassionate and empathetic professional relationship. My therapeutic methodology is based on a multi-modal approach to counseling from which I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, reality therapy, guided imagery and relaxation techniques, as well using journaling and other forms of therapy that may be helpful. I am mindful that each individual is unique and may benefit from different methods of therapy during any given session."
